Peter Fulton

New Zealand

Peter Fulton is an attacking top-order batsman who plays for Canterbury Wizards. His Test debut for New Zealand came in March 2006 against the West Indies where he made 17 and 28. He has had greater success in the one day arena, however, where he made 70 against Sri Lanka in his second game. His maiden century came three innings later against the same opponents.

Fulton has an outstanding first class record with an average nearer to fifty than forty and a top score of 301 not out, which makes his relatively mediocre record at Test level somewhat surprising but given how badly he was missed on New Zealand's tour of South Africa, expect him to be given every chance to improve in the Test arena.
