Ross Taylor

New Zealand

Ross Taylor is an exciting young talent, bursting onto the scene in the with a flamboyant unbeaten 128 in the 2006/7 one day series with Sri Lanka. He had made his debut against West Indies scoring 15 but his century in just his third outing has marked him down as one to follow in the future for New Zealand.

He made his Test debut on New Zealand's 2007/8 tour of South Africa, but failed to make any score higher than 17, but given a first class record for Central Districts that boasts 3 hundreds, a top score of 217 and his apparently seamless step up from domestic to international cricket, his two appearances on the tour are unlikely to be his last.
